Welcome to United Way of Midland County’s report portal, where United Ways and non-profit agencies can access their campaign reports, view payment details, and maintain their account profile.
United Way of Midland County (UWMC) processes employee campaigns for organizations with locations across the United States of America, including Corteva, Dow, DuPont, Hemlock Semiconductor, MidMichigan Health, TCF, and more.
2020 CAMPAIGN HIGHLIGHTS:
- 6.9% Processing Fee, retained by UWMC.
- 7.0% Fundraising Fee, collected and paid to local United Way fundraisers.
- Designations are paid directly to agencies based on collected pledges.
- Disbursements will begin in February 2021.
- All billing is done by UWMC. Do not bill donors associated with these accounts.
- All receipting for tax purposes is done by UWMC. Do not send tax receipts to these donors.
- Do not include any IRS wording or any wording that could imply tax deductibility on communications with these donors (including “thank you” letters).
PLEDGE REPORTS:
Also known as the “Standard M Donor Choice Pledge Projection Report”, “Where Raised Report”, and “Donor Details Report”. This report will provide you with information about dollars raised in your fundraising zip codes (including designations) and/or dollars designated to your United Way from outside of your area. It contains as much donor information as we are able to provide, based on agreements that we have in place with our corporate partners.
- Under the “Reports” menu item select "Campaign Pledge Report".
- A list of available reports will appear.
- Select the desired report, choose your report type (PDF/CSV/BOTH).
- Press the “Submit” button.
- Under the “Reports” menu item, click on “Downloads”.
- Depending on the size of your report, you may need to hit the “Refresh” button.
- The name of the report will turn into a blue link when the report is ready.
- Click on the report name and the file will automatically download.
PAYOUT REPORTS:
For each EFT or check that you recieve, their may be multiple reports that need to be added together to equal the amount received. All payment reports are automatically populated under the Reports -> "Downloads" menu item.
PAYOUT SCHEDULE:
- UWMC intends to pay United Ways via ACH/EFT on a monthly basis, and other agencies via ACH/EFT on quarterly basis, beginning in February 2021.
- UWMC encourages all United Ways to sign up for ACH/EFT payments via our online reporting site.
- Organizations that do not provide us with banking information may be subject to an alternative, annual payment schedule. Unless we hear differently, UWMC will assume your organization agrees to this pay schedule.
- It is anticipated that the final disbursement of 2019 campaign contributions will be in the first quarter of 2021.
PAYOUT PROCESS:
- UWMC will pay all agencies directly regardless of where the dollars were raised.
- In accordance with Standard M, only one fee may be deducted and that deduction will be taken by UWMC.
- All fees will be deducted by UWMC and the fundraising fees on those dollars will be separately refunded to the fundraising United Way annually.
- UWMC is responsible for the collection process, which includes sending billing statement and conducting personal follow-up for higher dollar and consistently lagging pledge payments. Do not send collection notices to any donors or companies.
- The distribution of funds collected is based on amounts actually received as of a given cutoff date. We may set a minimum dollar amount for payment disbursements; your organization may not receive a distribution each payment cycle.
