UNITED WAY OF MIDLAND COUNTY
BASIC NEEDS ORGANIZER

As Midland County shifts from flood response to flood recovery, United Way is looking for volunteers to assist with the organization of donated items.

These items will then help fulfill basic needs requests from organizations and community members.

Volunteers will organize personal care items and cleaning products in our Midland warehouse location.

Restrooms are not available. Volunteers should bring water and snacks as needed.

Upon registration, Rene’e Urlaub, Volunteer Manager at United Way of Midland County, will contact you to further discuss details and scheduling.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to lift and bend without experiencing discomfort
  • Please wear a face mask for health and safety.
  • Wear close-toed shoes and pants rather than shorts.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • By registering to volunteer for this project, you are indicating that you have read and consent to our Volunteer Waiver
  • By registering to volunteer for this project, you are indicating that you consider yourself in good health, are not contagious, and have not experienced symptoms that indicate any form of illness, including (but not limited to): fever, cough or shortness of breath
  • Minimum age to volunteer: 18 (or minor with waiver signed by a parent legal guardian. Middle schoolers can also register but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian).
